1. You need to talk about the Sumidero Canyon, you need to explain all the advantages that this natural rock formation brings to the people of Chiapa de Corzo. Create ads.

• Provide a brief explanation about the its formation and legends (if any). Mention where it is located, and other information you consider relevant.
• What a tourist person (foreign or national) can do there?
• What services do Chiapa de Corzo people provide to tourists?
• What are some of the traditional drinks / foods tourist can taste? what are their main ingredients?
• What is the biggest contribution to the Chiapa de Corzo town?

Present Progressive or Continuous

Hello my dear students, here you will find a brief explanation about the Present Continuous tense.

Present Continuous

FORM

[am/is/are + present participle]

Examples:

·         You are watching TV.

·         Are you watching TV?

·         You are not watching TV.

USE

Use the Present Continuous with Normal Verbs to express the idea that something is happening now, at this very moment. It can also be used to show that something is not happening now.

Examples:

·         You are learning English now.

·         Are you sleeping?

·         I am sitting; I am not standing.

·         Is he sitting or standing?

·         They are reading their books; they are not watching television.

·         What are you doing?

ACTIVE / PASSIVE

Examples:

·         Right now, Tom is writing the letter. Active

·         Right now, the letter is being written by Tom. Passive
